At Bayport Preschool we believe in play-based, responsive teaching practices that promote and support the learning of all children in a respectful and inclusive way, and that are based on careful observations of each child’s individual knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities and interests.
We regard the environment as the third teacher, where every space has a purpose and is rich in potential for children to engage and communicate. Our indoor spaces are comforting and offer a range of levels, materials and sensory experiences. Our outdoor space provides children with the opportunities to take healthy risks, get messy, develop their wonder for the outside world, and engage in mindful sustainability practices.
In 2022 we underwent our most recent Rating and Assessment and were found to be Exceeding in all areas!
